Five killed in car-lorry collision in Tirupati
Five members of a family died after the car in which they were travelling collided with a lorry on early Sunday in Tirupati. The accident took place near Mamanduru, about 20 km from Tirupati.

The victims were on their way to their village in Kadapa district after receiving a family member in Chennai from Kuwait. Their car rammed into a cement-laden lorry, killing all the occupants including a year old baby.

The police reached the spot. The police told the media sources that the reason behind the mishap could be human error as one or both of the drivers may have gone to sleep while on the wheel. -PTC NEWS
