Chandigarh, August 16:  To mark 5 months of governance of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann- led AAP government in Punjab, five Cabinet ministers presented report card to publicise their work done over these months. Five ministers namely Finance minister Harpal Cheema, Health Minister Chetan Singh Jouramajra, Rural Development & Agriculture Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, ETO, Power and PWD (B&R;) Minister Harbhajan Singh, School Education, Mines & Geology Minister Harjot Singh Bains jointly addressed the media at Punjab Bhawan, Chandigarh and claimed that their government has met almost all important targets set during the Budget session.

While addressing media, the minister said, “Punjab’s principle debt of Rs 4,349 crore has been cleared and interest of nearly 6,000 crore has also been paid in a span of 5 months. As promised earlier, CM Bhagwant Mann dedicated 75 Mohalla clinics to the residents of Punjab on the Independence Day, but the very next day we added 25 more, raising the figure to 100.  We are also going to set up two colleges, one in Kapurthala and another in Hoshiarpur for which the approval has been taken from the Central Government .In the next 5 years, every region of Punjab will have at least one medical college.” Notably, Bhagwant Mann took oath as Chief Minister of Punjab on March 26, 2022, in an elaborated event held at Khatkar Kalan, the ancestral village of Bhagat Singh.
