Following CBSE pattern, PSEB introduces change in Class 12 Science exams

As class 12 board examinations draws nearby, the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has announced that the students pursuing science stream will be getting question papers in line with the pattern followed by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Meanwhile, there have been minor changes in the syllabus and some of the topics have been removed. There is a major change in the introduction of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of 20 marks (one mark each) in PCM (Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry). The teachers feel that it can be difficult for the PSEB students who are not used to the MCQs and never experienceD them in class 11 too. However, the teachers have appreciated the decision of removing some topics in physics and chemistry which they say is a good step to lessen the burden for final board preparations. The teachers also feel that the change should have been opted bit early as only three months are left for the final examinations. https://www.ptcnews.tv/cbse-10th-12th-date-sheet-2020-exams-will-begin-from-february-15/ The board has also informed all the government, private, affiliated and associated schools that the changes have been introduced in question paper pattern, syllabus and marks distribution for math, physics, chemistry and biology for 2019-20 examination.
