Former Akali MLA, Mantar Brar seeks Blanket bail; hearing on March 5
Former Chief Parliamentary Secretary and Kotkapura MLA Mantar Singh Brar has applied for blanket bail in Behbal Kalan and Bargrari firing case. Mr Brar had appeared twice before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) set up to look into the firing incidents. As a witness to the police firing, he was called by the SIT questioning.

On Friday he filed a petition in the District and Sessions Court seeking blanket bail in the case. The hearing has been fixed for March 5.

It is worth mentioning that on February 27, Mantar Singh Brar was questioned by SIT for two hours for the case.
