Former BJP leader and Cricketer Kirti Azad all set to join Congress Former BJP leader and Cricketer Kirti Azad is all set to join the Congress in New Delhi on Saturday . Kirti Azad announced to join Indian National Congress (INC) on twitter on Friday.

Kirti Azad had to join the Congress in the presence of party president Rahul Gandhi on Friday but later on as a mark of respect to the jawans slain in the Pulwama terror attack he said that he would join on Saturday instead of Friday as a mark of respect to the CRPF personnels.

Three time Member of Parliament from Darbhaga , Kirti Azad is a former cricketer and is also the son of former Bihar chief minister Bhagwat Jha Azad.
