The development comes three days after Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leaders had demanded a special sitting of Punjab assembly for revocation of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s Bharat Ratna award.
Meanwhile, on the other hand Congress Member of Parliament (MP) from Ludhiana Ravneet Singh Bittu and congress workers rushed to clean the Rajiv Gandhi’s statue with milk.
