Four Persons Accused Of Stealing Over 100 Cars in Delhi The Delhi police on Sunday busted a gang of car thieves who used to steal luxurious cars parked outside gyms, following which they used to sell those cars in Mizoram. The Anti-Auto Theft Squad of the police department said that they have arrested Amit, 27, Pramod Nagar, 35, Kashif Raza, 32 and Kansam Rajesh Singh, 43. They have also recovered stolen vehicles from the accused. Once Promod was arrested, his younger brother who was also the gang member went into hiding. He was traced through the internet dongle he was using to communicate through whatsapp. Kashif Raza and Amit were arrested and interrogated, during which they revealed their modus operandi. They told that they used to sell the stolen cars to Rajesh Singh in Mizoram. Then, he used to sell those cars after forging their registration documents. The interrogation revealed all the 6 parts of their gang which was operating from South Delhi. They have stolen over 100 cars. Amit during the interrogation said that he was not satisfied stealing small cars. He used to notice how patrons left their car keys in A bowl at the reception desk at the gym, where they are left unattended.
