Investigation against Gandhi family and Tytler will now be done, Sukhbir Badal
In a press conference Shiromani Akali Dal President, Sukhbir Singh Badal talking about the 1984 Sikh Genocide said that the investigation will now be done against the Gandhi family, their role in Sikh genocide and against Jagdish Tytler.
In the matter of the latest evidence presented by Shiromani Akali Dal against Jagdish Tytler and Congress, the Home Ministry has taken a new step and sent all the evidence to Justice Dhingra.
Sukhbir Singh Badal said, 'We are now hopeful that the investigation will be done properly as the investigation is directly under the Supreme Court and not any specific government.'
The truth will now come out, he added.
He also said that he has informed the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC), to form a team and help the authorities find the real culprits.
The Union Home Ministry has forwarded the "fresh evidence" against Congress leader Jagdish Tytler submitted by the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DGMC) to the SIT headed by Justice SN Dhingra that is probing the mayhem.
On Friday, the Ministry in a letter to Justice Dhingra stated that it has received a complaint from the DSGMC regarding fresh evidence along with a CD containing the full video of Tytler's TV interview and a report of the Nanawati Commission.
