'Gandhi family wants to divide the Sikh community,' Sukhbir Badal at Rakhar Punia Rally Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal lashes out at Congress at the Rakhar Punia Rally at Baba Bakala Sahib, here on Sunday. 'Aam Aadmi party and Indian National Congress are making all efforts to defame Shiromani Akali Dal. They are the enemy of Sikh quom (community) and Punjab,' said Sukhbir Badal. 'All they want to do is divide the Sikhs', he added. 'Gandhi family wants to divide the Sikh community,' Sukhbir Badal added. 'To crack jokes, make promises, build castles in the air is one thing, and to write the destiny of a state is another. It surely seems like Captain Amarinder Singh has totally forgotten the latter,' said Akali Dal President. 'The attack on Manjit Singh GK has been done on behest of ISI who are anti-India, against stability of Punjab & want to create a wedge between Sikhs,' said SAD President Sukhbir Badal in the rally. On the occasion of 'Rakhar Punia', Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal said, 'the accounts of Daduwal and others are being filled with funds by ISI.' Accusing the Punjab Government for "betraying" the people by reneging on its poll promises, Sukhbir Singh Badal said 'Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh has betrayed the people, in a short span of time people have become disillusioned with the government.' Asking Amarinder to stop "befooling" the people of Punjab, Sukhbir Badal said it would be better if the Punjab Congress president could list what he had done for Punjab during his tenure as chief minister. He also appealed to the people to stop expecting grants and help from Captain Amarinder Singh, as once Shiromani Akali Dal is in power everything will be taken care. -PTC News
