While coronavirus cases have been rising in India, the Gangster-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. He has been kept in isolation in the district jail in Banda, the officials said on Tuesday. According to the information, Mukhtar Ansari was found positive for coronavirus in a rapid antigen test on Saturday. The Chief Medical Officer ND Sharma said that it was confirmed in an RT-PCR test on Sunday.
