Girl dies after drinking from classmate’s water bottle
A class V student of a private school died on Thursday after drinking from classmate’s water bottle. According to media reports, the bottle contained an "acid-like substance.”
The incident was reported from a private school in Harsh Vihar. The deceased, 11-year-old girl lived near school only.

The girl drank water from her classmate’s water bottle. After drinking, she vomited in the classroom. The school authorities rushed her to a nearby hospital, where she was declared brought dead.

The forensic team collected the samples from the spot. The police told the media that the portion that she threw up on the floor was completely discoloured. According to the preliminary investigations, police suspects that she had consumed acid.
