Glenn Maxwell Engagement: Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell took to Instagram to share that he has got engaged to his Indian-origin girlfriend Vini Raman on Wednesday. Maxwell posted the picture of him with his fiancee and captioned it with a ring emoji. Likewise, Raman also posted a picture on her Instagram and revealed that Maxwell had asked her to marry him.
She wrote: “Last week my favourite person asked me to marry him #YES.” Congratulating Maxi, Kings XI Punjab wrote: “Max-vinning off the field! ? Congratulations to our very own Maxwell as he gets engaged with Vini.? Mubarakan ji mubarakan! ?”
Likewise, Cricket Australia said in a tweet: “Big congratulations to Glenn Maxwell who’s just announced his engagement!” Maxwell was left out of Australia’s squad for the South Africa tour after he was advised to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his left elbow.
Cricket Australia on February 12 confirmed that the injury has forced Maxwell to sit out of action for at least six to eight weeks. Earlier, the 31-year-old all-rounder had taken a break from cricket citing mental health reasons in October last year.

After his break, Maxwell returned to Big Bash League where he led Melbourne Stars to the finals against Sydney Sixers. Maxwell was dominating the side with his explosive batting.
Fellowmate Dale Steyn had even said that after AB De Villiers, Maxwell can be named Mr. 360. Despite his dominating performance, Melbourne Stars suffered defeat against Syndey Sixers in the finals.
