Glenn Maxwell IPL 2020 News: Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell likely to miss the initial matches of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 for Kings XI Punjab due to injury on his left elbow. Meanwhile, Maxwell has been ruled out of the upcoming ODIs and T20Is against South Africa starting from February 21. Maxwell has been replaced by D'Arcy Shorts in both squads. Glenn Maxwell was bought by Kings XI Punjab for Rs 10.5 crore. He needs 6 to 8 weeks of time for the recovery. According to Cricket Australia, Maxwell will undergo surgery on Thursday in Melbourne. Reportedly, Maxwell received the injury during the back end of Big Bash League (BBL) 2019-20 in which he led Melbourne Stars to the finals against Sydney Sixers. Stars were defeated by Sixers in the finals.
