ਪੈਟਰੋਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਸਸਤਾ, ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਬੇਸਿਕ ਐਕਸਾਈਜ਼ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਘਟਾਈ
government cuts basic duty on petrol: ਪੈਟਰੋਲ ਅਤੇ ਡੀਜ਼ਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਧੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਕਦੋਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਬਣੀਆਂ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਵਿੱਤ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੰਗਲਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਟਵੀਟ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਇਹ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਘੱਟ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ।Govt of India has reduced Basic Excise Duty rate on Petrol & Diesel [both branded and unbranded] by Rs. 2 per litre w.e.f. 4th October,2017 — Ministry of Finance (@FinMinIndia) October 3, 2017
ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੈਟਰੋਲ ਅਤੇ ਡੀਜ਼ਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ 'ਚ 2 ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਕਟੌਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।Revenue loss on a/c of these reductions in excise duty is about Rs.26,000 crore in full year& Rs13,000 crore in remaining part of Current FY

ਇਹ ਆਦੇਸ਼ 4 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਤੋਂ ਲਾਗੂ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਵਿੱਤ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕਸਮ ਇੰਟਰਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਲੈਵਲ 'ਤੇ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਕਾਰਨ ਦੇਸ਼ 'ਚ ਪੈਟਰੋਲ ਡੀਜ਼ਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਉਠਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
