Greenpeace report: Gurugram emerges as most polluted city in world Recent research by Greenpeace revealed that Gurugram has emerged as the most polluted city in the world while Delhi remains the most polluted capital in the world. The latest report by Greenpeace highlights that out of 20 most polluted cities in the world, 15 cities are from India. Gurugram and Ghaziabad top the list of most polluted cities in the world, followed by Faridabad, Bhiwadi and Noida.
