Grenade thrown on Army vehicle, no causality in explosion : A grenade is thrown on a vehicle of Army that exploded near Khrew Chownk in Pulwama district in Jammu and Kashmir. According to official information no causality has been reported yet in the incident of grenade explosion. Further information in this regard is still awaited.
Earlier on Saturday, the suspected terrorists hurled a grenade towards a police station in Shopian district. The grenade exploded outside the station, police said.
On January 12, Shopian district witnessed a similar attack, wherein terrorists sprayed bullets on a police post. It is to be mentioned that Eight people including, five civilians and three armed forces personnel, were killed and 35 others injured in border districts of Jammu.
The troops of India and Pakistan exchange fire between troops of India and Pakistan rangers continued for four days now. The incidents of ceasefire violation has been noticed along the areas of Line of control in Jammu and Kashmir from the last few days.
