With Band Baja Baraat, groom casts vote in Shakarpur

Delhi Assembly Elections 2020: While Delhiites are voting to chose their next Chief Minister for Delhi, a bridegroom exercised his vote with his family at a polling booth in MCD primary school in Shakarpur. The bridegroom was wearing traditional Sherwani while standing in a queue to cast his vote. While many of the people were praising him, there were some who were mentioning it a stunt to gain attention. "Who goes for the wedding in early morning?" people asked. Likewise, a 110-yrs-old Kalitara Mandal, the oldest voter of Delhi, casted her vote for Delhi Elections 2020, at SDMC Primary School, Chittaranjan Park in Greater Kailash Assembly constituency. Also, Former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and his wife Gursharan Singh exercised their vote at Nirman Bhawan in New Delhi Assembly constituency. Among the B-town industry, Taapsee Pannu, Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub, Richa Chadha, Anubhav Sinha and others took to social media to request their fans to exercise their right to vote in Delhi. Taapsee Pannu shared a picture with her family and wrote: "‘Pannu Parivaar’ has voted. Likewise, Congress Interim President Sonia Gandhi accompanied by Priyanka Gandhi Vadra reached Nirman Bhawan in New Delhi assembly constituency to cast vote.
