A group of diplomats from foreign missions will visit Jammu and Kashmir this week, the news agency ANI reported on Monday. Earlier, two batches of foreign diplomats visited Jammu and Kashmir in January and February last year after the Article 370 was abrogated by the government of India in August 2019. Meanwhile, this will be the first visit by the foreign diplomats to the Jammu and Kashmir since the coronavirus outbreak hit the nation. The group of diplomats from foreign missions will visit Jammu on February 18 and Kashmir on February 19. The visit comes at a time when Jammu and Kashmir witnessed DDC elections that saw a huge participation from the residents and even as the restoration of 4G mobile internet in entire Jammu and Kashmir. The 4G internet services resumed after 18 months and several people see it as a return of normalcy in the Union Territory. A group of diplomats from foreign missions will visit Jammu and Kashmir this week, the news agency ANI reported on Monday. Likewise, the university and colleges have been reopened in the union territory. The envoys are likely to visit Budgam also and are slated to meet the representatives of civil society and the government during their visit.
