Gujarat: Unhappy for not having male child, woman commits suicide, pushes daughters into well
In a shocking incident, a woman allegedly committed suicide after throwing her three daughters into a well in Mahisagar, Gujarat. The woman has been identified as Mangu Damor. She ended her life on Thursday after jumping into a well. According to the information, the woman was unhappy for not having a male child. As per report, Mangu was disturbed and did not cook food for her daughters even as one of them cried in hunger. She left home at around 8 pm with her youngest daughter. The next morning, Mangu and her three daughters were missing. The entire family was searching for Mangu when her husband's relatives told them that a sweater and bed sheet was seen near a well in the village. Following this, they rushed to the well, where they saw the bodies of Mangu and her three daughters floating in the well. The family then informed the police and the bodies were fished out of the well. During interrogation, Mangu's husband Raman told the police that he married Mangu seven years ago.
