Before that, Gujarat and Karnataka are the only other states tosuch facilities for "passport related services." Giving this information, a spokesman of Ms Badal said that she had been trying hard to provide this facility to the people of Patiala and Bathinda they had to face lot of inconvenience in travelling to Chandigarh to fulfill even the most minor requirements for securing their passports. For the moment, Post Master General will function as the facilitator for these services. But for the people, it will have all the requisite facilities for filling and submission of applications and queries about their passports.
