Harsimrat criticized Captain Government’s ‘farmers’ loan waiver’ scheme

Harsimrat criticized Captain Government’s ‘farmers’ loan waiver’ scheme: Union Food and Processing Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal slating the launching of first phase of farmers loan waiver scheme said that Captain Government could not fulfil its promises. Reacting sharply on it she said that congress had highlighted the point of farmers debt and fought election on the issue. Harsimrat criticized Captain Government’s ‘farmers’ loan waiver’ scheme But, now, the government could not meet its own promises done with the people of the state, she added. Harsimrat further said that this loan waiver scheme was just eyewash and nothing else. She said that the farmers had already been paying much more interest than the amount that had been waived off. She said that it was merely a drama on the part of the state government and it would increase distress among the farmers. Harsimrat criticized Captain Government’s ‘farmers’ loan waiver’ scheme Reacting on closing down of Bathinda Thermal Plant, the Union Minister said that the government was full of looters. Thermal plant had been closed down to grab the land. She said that the government that promised to established new industry and provide employment to the unemployed was snatching livelihood from the people of the state. Harsimrat said that she had brought seven and a half crore of funds from the centre and that money was spent on the renovation of the thermal plant. She said that congress government was turning down all the schemes that were launched by their government and above all, the present government had not launched any new scheme for the welfare of the people as such. -PTC News
