SAD Black Day Protest and Parliament March: Former Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Friday condemned Delhi Police for sealing the entry points to the national capital and detaining SAD workers reaching Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib. Even she termed the current situation as an 'undeclared emergency'. Receiving phone calls & videos telling how Police trying to foil a protest march to Parl against 3 Farm Laws. It's an undeclared EMERGENCY!" Also Read | GST Council meeting: Petrol may cost Rs 75 per litre, diesel Rs 68 a litre, claims report Ahead of the 'black day' protest march which was announced by SAD on completion of one year of enactment of the three farms laws, the party said that borders of Gurdwara Rakabganj Sahib is being cordoned off and Delhi borders are being sealed. "Looking at the number of farmers and Shiromani Akali Dal cadre coming for the protest, Rakabganj Sahib was being cordoned off to stop Punjabis from entering. SAD further alleged that Punjab registered vehicles were being stopped at the Delhi borders. SAD Parliament March: Section 144 imposed in New Delhi The protest is said to be led by SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal and SAD MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal. SAD has been protesting against the three farm laws. These are Farmer's Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill, 2020, and the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill, 2020. -PTC News
