Haryana: 10 dead, 1 injured in a road accident in Jind
At least 10 persons died and one was injured in a road accident near Jind-Hansi road on Tuesday night. The incident took place after an oil tanker rammed into their auto-rickshaw near Ramrai village in Jind at around 10:30 pm. The victims were on their way back from an Army recruitment rally. Police said a few of them were cadets at the military academy. Their families have been informed. Uttarakhand: 7 passengers died as a boulder fell on their bus at Lambagad slide zone on Badrinath Highway Sources said the youths took an auto from Jind city and met with an accident after eight kilometers on Jind-Hansi road. Five of them were reportedly from the same village. The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital. Deputy Superintendent of Police Kaptal Singh said, "We have found documents from their bags and informed their family members to verify their identity.” -PTC News
