Haryana Budget 2021: Free education for Classes 9 to 12 in govenment schools

The Haryana government led by Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday presented a Rs 1.55 lakh crore budget for 2021-22 focusing on health, agriculture, and infrastructure. The budget proposed free education from classes 9th to 12th for all categories in government schools of Haryana. Rs. 18,410 crores have been allocated for the education sector which is 17.8 percent more than the previous year.   • Minimum of 1 lakh job linkages of the youth of Haryana in the private sector in 2021-22.
  • Forts to be declared protected sites.
  • Night landing facilities at four airports including Hisar, Pinjore, Karnal, and Narnaul.
  • Haryana to purchase 800 non-AC buses.
  • Proposal to construct ring roads in Ambala and Bhiwani.
