Haryana: Man picks son from school, shoots him, self A man allegedly shot dead his 12-year-old son before killing himself they had been travelling near Dhigtania village in Sirsa district when the incident took place. Vikram Saharan who was 43, died on the spot while his son Dev succumbed to his injuries at the Civil Hospital, Sirsa. The two were in a Toyota Fortuner at the time of the incident. Saharan reportedly stop-ped his vehicle near Dhigtania village, closed its windows and shot his son in the head with a .32 bore licensed revolver before turning the revolver on himself. Police said Saharan, from Kalirawan village in Hisar, was living with his in-laws at Fefana village in Rajasthan on the border of Sirsa. The police said Dev, a Class 6 student, used to go to school in a bus, but today Saharan told his family that he would pick him up. -PTC News
