Haryana police make elaborate arrangements for peaceful conduct of Jind by poll elections
The state police have made elaborate security arrangements to ensure peaceful conduct of Jind by poll elections.
To ensure security arrangements, as many as 2950 police cops have been deployed for the election duty. The state police have also issued a set of guidelines to maintain law and order in the constituency.
A total number of 174 polling stations has been set up to conduct polls.According to a official, out of 174 polling stations — 23 polling stations has been identified as sensitive whereas 20 polling stations has been categorized as hyper-sensitive.
As many as 1,800 additional cops have also been sanctioned by the Director General of Police (DGP) office.
The Jind by poll elections are scheduled to be held on January 28.The results of the elections will be declared on January 31.
