Haryana singer dupes govt ex-officer of Rs 60 lakh; arrested A 27-year-old Haryana based female singer arrested for duping a retired government official on Thursday.  She duped Rs 60 lakh on the pretext of exchanging old currency notes during demonetization. The accused has been identified as Shikha Raghav. She was a stage singer and was declared as a proclaimed offender by the city court. Acting on the tip-off, the police arrested the accused in Haryana. No recovery has been made from the accused by the police. During the interrogation, it was revealed that Shikha Raghav used to perform stage shows in Delhi and adjoining areas. During demonetization, Shikha assured the victim that she can get the old notes exchanged with the new ones safely. On this pretext, the accused took all the money and fled.
