Haryana 'withdraws' 87 FIRs against farmers

Haryana government on Tuesday withdrew criminal cases registered against farmers during the protest against three controversial farm laws, according to sources. This comes around 90 days after the farmers camping at the borders of the national capital withdrew protest and returned to their homes. As per the latest reports, the state government cancelled as many 87 FIRs of a total of 278 cases lodged against the protesters during a year-long farmers' agitation.
