Heavy rains, hailstorm in Punjab & Haryana; Farmers worried
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of moderate to heavy rains with hailstorm in Punjab and Haryana on April 16 and 17. It has left farmers in the region worried. The rainfall in Punjab and Haryana has once again made a comeback. Rains, thunderstorms and dust storms are likely to start in Punjab and Haryana in the evening.

The weather is expected to continue until tomorrow i.e. April 17. The weather system will then start moving away eastward and intensity will reduce to quite an extent. The farming community has been advised to make adequate measures in view of the rainfall. The farmers are worried as heavy rains, hailstorm and dust storms can damage the crops.
