High drama at Hotel Mountview by mother daughter duo
A woman and her daughter created a ruckus after they entered into an altercation with the hotel staff over food at Hotel Mountview Sector 10 Chandigarh. Rani Kataria (57) and her daughter Swati Kataria (35) who created drama are residents of Karnal. “Without any reason, they started misbehaving with the staff and hurled abuses at them,” said Anurag Walia general manager of the hotel. The women then broke crockery and even threw a plate at one of the staff members. The hotel management then informed the police, who rushed to the spot and took both women into custody. “The CCTV footage of the incident shows that both women were at fault,” Walia said. The sources said Swati received injuries on her hand after which she was admitted to Government Multi-Specialty Hospital (GMSH), Sector 16. Inspector Sher Singh, SHO of the Sector 3 police station, said “At present, no case has been registered against them and the matter is under investigation.” -PTC News
