Hockey: India starts with a bang defeats Japan 6-0: India made a dream start in the four-nation Invitation Hockey Tournament at Mount Maunganui in New Zealand with a fluent 6-0 win over Japan on Thursday. India led 3-0 at the half time. The hosts New Zealand and Belgium are other teams in the competition. India started well by taking 2-0 lead in the first quarter with a penalty stroke conversion by Rupinderpal Singh. Vivek Prasad followed it up with a brilliant field goal.
