Honeypreet Insan will be produced before Court today
Honeypreet Insan will be produced in a court by the Haryana Police on Wednesday and the police would seek her remand to probe her role in the conspiracy to incite violence in Panchkula on August 25, post Ram Rahim verdict by the Special CBI Court.
Meanwhile, the police conducted medical examination of Honeypreet and other woman Sukhpreet Kaur at General Hospital in Panchkula at around 2 am on Wednesday.
Honeypreet, the adopted daughter of Dera Sacha Sauda Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, and Sukhpreet were brought for medical examination in a private vehicle. They were both taken to Chandimandir police station in the same vehicle, after the examination.
Panchkula Police Commissioner AS Chawla said: “We have deputed senior women police officers to interrogate Honeypreet. She, however, has not divulged much.”
The Haryana Police arrested Honeypreet Insan near Zirakpur in Punjab on Tuesday.
An FIR was registered against Honeypreet Insan, number 345 registered at the Sector 5 police station in Panchkula. Dera spokesperson Aditya Insan, who is also on the run, is also an accused in that case.
Thirty-five persons were killed and over 200 injured in the violence on August 25th.
