Honeypreet’s ex-husband receives threat letter, seeks security
Ex-husband of Honeypreet Insan, Vishwas Gupta on Thursday claimed to have received a threat letter allegedly sent by the Dera Kurbani gang.
Honeypreet Insan is the so called daughter of the Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim.
Vishvas has filed a complaint with the Sector 4 police post here. Accompanied by his father, Mahinder Gupta, Vishwas said he was going to Chandigarh to meet the DGP and ask for security.
While talking to the media at the police post, he said he had received life threat from members of the Dera Kurbani gang.
He said the letter stated that around 200 people were ready to sacrifice their lives for Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh and that those who were defaming the Dera chief and spreading rumours about him would not be spared.
Police have started investigation.
