'How dare they call our farmers anti-nationals?': Sukhbir Singh Badal
Farmers Protest against Farm Laws 2020: Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal on Thursday said that the farmers have dedicated their entire life to the nation and that those who are calling them anti-nationals are actually anti-nationals. "There are elderly women in farmer protests. Do they look like Khalistanis? It is a way of calling farmers of the country as anti-nationals. This is an insult to the farmers. How dare they call our farmers anti-nationals?" Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Badal said while talking to the news agency ANI. These people (farmers) have dedicated their entire life to the nation and now you are calling them anti-national. People who are calling them anti-nationals are actually anti-nationals," he added. Meanwhile, Shiromani Akali Dal stalwart, former Union Minister and five-time Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Parkash Singh Badal returned the Padma Vibhushan award in support of the farmers' protest against farm laws 2020. He returned his award to send a strong message to the government."
