HPSC : 33,000 candidates for 107 vacant posts of judges The pendency of cases in Haryana's subordinate courts has gone up during the past few years due to shortage of judicial officers. According to sources, there were 150 vacancies in the state judicial services. The state government has decided to invite applications to fill 107 of these vacant posts. As many as 33,000 applicants have applied for these jobs. It works out at 1300 applicants for each vacant job of a judicial officer. Out of these, 10 to 12 percent candidates will be selected who will appear in main examination. Transparency Apart from it, the biggest responsibility of Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) would be to maintain the transparency and secrecy as earlier question paper of HPSC examinations conducted on July 16, 2107, were allegedly leaked. - PTC News
