Iceland Foreign Minister visits Taj Mahal with wife
Iceland Foreign Minister, Gudlaugur Thor Thordarson, and his wife, Augusta Johnson, visited Taj Mahal on Monday. They both spent more than an hour at the Taj Mahal and observed the intricate works and beauty of the monument.

According to the media reports, both the minister and his wife were happy to see Taj Mahal. They both also had a photo session on the famous Diana Bench at the Taj. They would be attending a programme today in Agra.

The Foreign Minister has arrived in India on December 7 for an eight eight-day visit to strengthen the bilateral relations. He met Sushma Swaraj on the first day of his visit.
Both the ministers focused on strengthening their cooperation in the major sectors like Fisheries, IT, trade and investment, renewable energy, geothermal energy, etc.
