If SAD forms govt in 2022, Deputy CM will be from Dalit bhaichara: Sukhbir Singh Badal

While the nation is remembering Dr. BR Ambedkar on his 130th birth anniversary, Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal on Wednesday said that if SAD would form government in Punjab in 2022 then the Deputy CM will be from Dalit Community.

While addressing people in Jalandhar, Sukhbir Singh Badal said that “Shiromani Akali Dal is proud to follow the ideals of Babasaheb Dr. BR Ambedkar Ji. We are committed to working for the weak and downtrodden.”

Remembering BR Ambedkar on his birth anniversary, Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal made announcement for Punjab polls 2022.

“Once SAD forms govt in Punjab in 2022, the Deputy CM will be from Dalit Bhaichara. We will also establish a University in Doaba in Babasaheb’s name,” he said.

On the birth anniversary of Dr. BR Ambedkar, Shiromani Akali Dal joined the country in remembering him, whose contribution to nation-building and to the weaker section of society remains unparalleled.

Remembering BR Ambedkar on his birth anniversary, Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal made announcement for Punjab polls 2022.

Earlier in the day, the SAD President tweeted: “Humble tribute to a great scholar, social reformer and father of the Indian Constitution Dr. BR Ambedkar on his 130th birth anniversary.”

Remembering BR Ambedkar on his birth anniversary, Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal made announcement for Punjab polls 2022.

Likewise, former Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal had shared a video on Twitter remembering one of the architects of the Indian constitution.

“Remembering the chief architect of Indian constitution Dr. BR Ambedkar Ji, who strived for society and governance based on the tenets of equality and justice. His contribution towards the nation will continue to inspire the generations to come,” she had written while sharing the video.
