If vaccination opened for all, Delhi Govt will vaccinate all citizens within 3 months: Kejriwal
COVID-19 Vaccine Age Limit: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting him for relaxation in conditions for opening a new coronavirus vaccination center as well as relaxation in the age limit for vaccination. The Delhi Chief Minister asked PM Narendra Modi to make the COVID-19 vaccine available for all. Also Read | India reports more than 1 lakh coronavirus cases, breaks all records of single-day spike In his letter to PM Narendra Modi, CM Arvind Kejriwal also wrote that if the conditions for opening new vaccination centers were relaxed and coronavirus vaccination was opened for all, then Delhi Government would be able to vaccinate all citizens of Delhi within 3 months. Earlier in the day, Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said that coronavirus, as per doctors, spread rapidly but was less severe in this wave. Micro-containment zones will be designated in areas with more than 2 cases, Jain said. Even as he informed that random testing was being done at a fast pace in Delhi. "We are doing more than 80,000 tests daily," he said. Furthermore, he said that there were 86,899 tests done on Sunday.
