Imran Khan ‘Stands by’ his words and will ‘immediately act’ on evidence on Pulwama Attack
Pakistan Prime Minister’s office released a statement on Sunday saying that “PM Imran Khan stands by his words that if India gives us actionable intelligence, we will immediately act on Pulwama Attack.” The statement further read that PM Modi should “give peace a chance.”
This appeal came just a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi hurled a challenge to Imran Khan. PM Modi asked him to act honourably by bringing to justice those behind the strike if he was indeed a “Pathan’s son”.
Narendra Modi said in Rajasthan Rally, “There is a consensus in the entire world against terrorism. We are moving ahead with the strength to punish the perpetrators of terrorism…The scores will be settled this time, settled for good…This is a changed India, this pain will not be tolerated…We know how to crush terrorism.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recalled his conversation with Imran Khan after he became Prime Minister. Modi asked him, “let us fight against poverty and illiteracy”. Imran Khan gave his words saying he is a Pathan’s son but he failed to keep up his promise.
