Coronavirus India: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday interacted with field officials from States and Districts to converse about their experience in handling the COVID-19 pandemic.
There are different challenges in every district of our country, he said, adding that you understand the challenges of your district best. "When your district wins, it is the country's victory. If your district defeats COVID-19, so does the country," he said.

You all are playing an important role in India's battle against coronavirus, he said, adding that you are the field commanders of this battle.

He said that last time, we didn't shut the farming sector. "I was astonished to see how villagers were maintaining social distancing in the fields," he said, adding that villages grasp the information and modify it according to their needs.
PM Narendra Modi said that in the battle against COVID-19, our weapons are local containment zone, aggressive testing, and sending correct and complete information to the people.
Continuous efforts are being made to increase the supply of COVID-19 vaccines on a large scale, he said, adding that the Health Ministry was streamlining the system and process of vaccination.
