IND vs NZ 1st Test Wellington: After suffering defeat in ODI series, India is all set to take on Kiwis in two-match Test series on Friday. The first Test is scheduled to be played at Basin Reserve, Wellington, from February 21. After white ball cricket, India and New Zealand will be playing each other with the red ball now.
The ICC Test Championship is underway, where New Zealand is currently at the sixth spot with 60 points while India is on the top with 360 points. Meanwhile, New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson said that the there was an element to it (ICC Test Championship points system) that was not fair. Also, he said that the World Test Championship was a step in the right direction.
Ahead of the first Test against India, New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson picked Virat Kohli as the best batsman in the world across all formats. Indian cricket team has the best all-conditions bowling attack, but New Zealand’s pacers know better than anyone else how to get wickets at home.
The match is going to be interesting as both the sides have best bowling attacks and batting line ups. India has not lost a Test series since 4-1 defeat in England in 2018.
