India and Pakistan discuss ceasefire along Line of Control
India Pakistan News: India and Pakistan held a discussion on a ceasefire along the Line of Control and later issued a joint statement regarding the same. The Joint Statement stated that the "Director Generals of Military Operations of India and Pakistan held discussions over the established mechanism of hotline contact." "In the interest of achieving mutually beneficial and sustainable peace along the borders, the two DGsMO agreed to address each other’s core issues and concerns which have a propensity to disturb the peace and lead to violence," said a Joint statement by India and Pakistan.
