India to host G-20 summit in 2022 Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that India will host G-20 summit in 2022. It is the year when India will celebrate its 75th anniversary of independence. Narendra Modi made this announcement at the closing ceremony of the G-20 Summit in Argentina on Sunday.
