New Delhi, July 20: India once again crossed the 20,000 mark, reporting 20,557 new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours. With this, the total tally of coronavirus cases reach 4,38,03,619 and active cases rise to 1,45,654, the Union Health Ministry informed on Wednesday. The country witnessed 40 new Covid-related deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 5,25,825. The active cases in the country account for 0.33 percent of the total infections. According to the health ministry, the national Covid-19 recovery rate was recorded at 98.47 percent.
