India-Pakistan tensions: Order to shut civilian operations at 8 airports withdrawn, flights to resume
All airports in India that were shut down this morning because of escalation in tension may soon be re-opened. The indication that civilian airport at Jammu, Srinagar, Amritsar, Adampur, Shimla, Bhuntar, Gagal, Dehradun, Leh and Chandigarh will remain functional after a final decision is taken by the union government this afternoon.

According to media sources, NOTAM (Notice to Airmen to alert aircraft pilots of potential hazards along a flight route) has been withdrawn. Flight operations will resume.
Some civilian operations were paralyzed amidst mixed directions by the union government to facilitate the moment of defence aircraft.

However, as the tension has eased the government is reviewing the situation.

According to media reports, “Air India official: Air India avoiding the route of Pakistan air space with immediate effect. India uses Pakistan airspace for flights to Gulf countries, Europe and the USA.”
