India vs New Zealand 3rd ODI: New Zealand defeated India by 5 wickets in the third and final match of the three-match ODI series at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui, on Tuesday. Also, New Zealand have clinched the three-match ODI series 3-0. While batting first India scored 296-7. KL Rahul scored a magnificent ton to take the team to a fighting total.
However, Indian bowling line-up comprising Jasprit Bumrah was not able to stop Kiwis and defend 297. While chasing 397, Martin Guptill scored 66 runs off 46 balls with 6 boundaries and 4 sixes. Kiwis opener Henry Nicholls scored 80 runs off 103 deliveries that included 9 boundaries. Afterwards, Kane Williamson, who was ruled out of the first and second ODI, went back to the pavilion after scoring 22 runs.
Colin De Grandhomme played an amazing inning of 58 runs off just 28 deliveries with 6 fours and 3 sixes. Nicholls was named Man of the Match for his ferocious innings while Ross Taylor has been named Player of ther series for his consitent batting. In term of consitent batting, KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer have been the consistent players for Team India, who have always given runs to the team.

Shardul Thakur and Navdeep Saini gave a lot of runs while Jasprit Bumrah gave just 50 runs out of 10 overs. Though Bumrah was not able to claim wickets but he built pressure, that the team was not able to turn it into wickets. Now, India will take on New Zealand in two-match Test series that will commence on February 21.
