India vs West Indies 2nd T20: Indian skipper Virat Kohli failed again in the second ODI match at Vishakhapatnam on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul hammered magnificent tons. Virat Kohli in the first ODI at Chennai scored just four runs before getting bowled by Sheldon Cottrell.
During the second ODI, Virat Kohli went back to the pavilion for a golden duck. Kohli was trapped on a slower short ball, while he tried to pull the ball. However, the ball hit Kohli high on the bat and it was an easy catch at mid-wicket where Chase took a sitter. Last year, Kohli had scored a hundred here against the same opposition.
However, the first innings of the second ODI was all about Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul. Rohit Sharma hammered 159 runs off 138 balls including 17 boundaries and 5 sixes. KL Rahul on the other side took 104 balls to score 102 runs, which included eight boundaries and three sixes.
KL Rahul was caught at third man. It was full length outside off stump. Rahul was trying to make too much of room and ended up flashing his bat at the widish delivery. The bat face turned in his hands and he ended up skewing it straight into the hands of the third man fielder Chase. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma, who was looking ferocious and fans were expecting a double century from him, edged in the hands of Shai Hope.
