Ruling out any involvement of Pakistan in Pulwama attack, Prime Minister Imran Khan broke his silence and briefed the media. Pakistan, he said, was open to any investigation into the Pulwama attack. It would take action if evidence was found against anyone from the Pakistani soil.

Imran Khan further said that it was in the best interest of Pakistan that no one from its soil was involved in spreading violence. Pakistan would not benefit from attacking India. As Pakistan wanted stability, why it would attack India? he asked. Indians were not satisfied with the reaction that Pakistan gave in its speech today. The Indians were expecting a reply or any official statement from Pakistan in the beginning only.

Imran Khan further said, "My statement is for the Indian government. You (Indian govt) have blamed the Pakistan government without any evidence. If you (Indian govt) think you will attack us and we will not think of retaliating, we will retaliate. We all know starting a war is in the hands of humans, where it will lead us only God knows. This issue should be solved through dialogue.”
