Indian High Commissioner Ajay Bisaria and Deputy High Commissioner JP Singh will hold a courtesy meeting with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Imran Khan at 4:30 pm today, officials confirmed.

Only the envoys of US, Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, UK and UAE have met Khan until now. This meeting, which will take place well before Khan’s swearing-in, is yet another sign that the government will not shy away from engaging Khan - at least initially - despite speculation that he might end up toeing Pakistan army’s line on India.
