Indian-origin man jailed for four months for 2004 bomb hoax in Singapore An Indian-origin man has been sentenced to undergo imprisonment for four months for a 2004 bomb hoax at Singapore’s first Prime Minister late Lee Kuan Yew’s house on Tuesday. The convict, Ganesan Singaravel (61) has pleaded guilty for his offensive act under the Telecommunications Act.

He then made a call to the police from public telephone booth next to the Thai Embassy. He made a reference of a bomb at late Lee Kuan Yew’s house. The police understood that message was false. Meanwhile, the officers were also directed to stay alert and vigilant outside late Lee Kuan Yew’s house.
